Ossett News Posted July 26, 2022 Report Share Posted July 26, 2022 Work is due to start for the installation of a new Pedestrian operated crossing to replace the subway, outside of Horbury Primary School. These plans and graphics show the locations and what is being installed. This new Pedestrian Crossing is similar to a Pelican Crossing, but is called a Toucan Crossing. The crossing area is wider to allow for more people to cross including cycles at anyone time. Work is due to be completed for early September.
