Quilling is a wonderful papercraft, which uses strips of paper that are curled and shaped in different ways, and then put together to create gorgeous designs. It’s perfect for fans of colour and pattern and is a really relaxing, inexpensive hobby.
At this workshop, I will show you how to create your own decorated letter design, in your chosen colours.
It is perfect for beginners, as we take it right from the beginning, at a relaxed pace to suit you.
In the morning I will show you different ways to create shapes with the paper strips, and then after a spot of lunch (bring your own) you will get going on your own one-of-a-kind design of your chosen letter.
I will provide everything you need, and you also get a quilling tool which is yours to keep, and a box frame to display your finished design in.

Stunning Summer Hanging Baskets!
Traditionally planted, moss lined, wire hanging baskets are our summer speciality here at Owl Lane Farm Nurseries. Each one is skilfully and lovingly created here on site TO ORDER using a fantastic selection of our home grown bedding plants, then given lots of care and attention until looking amazing and ready to be collected.
Here’s a look at just a few of our finished orders filling out nicely before collection.

The Owl Lane Farm Nursery summer bedding plant season is well underway.
We have one of the largest selections of plants in the area and we grow many of them ourselves here on site. So if you love top quality bedding plants and hanging baskets at competitive prices, call in and have a browse, we have so much to choose from, you won’t be disappointed.
If you haven’t visited us before, find us on the B6128 Owl Lane, five minutes from Ossett town centre, just across the road from Dewsbury Rams Rugby Stadium.
Our current opening hours are:
Mon-Fri 9am-7pm
Sat 9am-5pm and Sun 10am-4pm
