Ossett News Posted February 16, 2022 Report Share Posted February 16, 2022 Unfortunately we have had some bad news passed to us, that a former Ossett Trinity player Bob Walker has unfortunately passed away. Ronnie Parr former player and current committee member had this to say. A few words about Bob Walker who died last sat. Classed as one of ossett's great players he came to trinity from Dewsbury where he played with his brother (Tank) Walker and played late 60s to early 70s. Bob was a very good footballer he was equally at home at 6 or 13 he could find a gap for himself or for a team mate sheer class. Sadly for us at Ossett he decided to go to Dewsbury Celtic where he won the first Wilkinson sword for m.o.m in the National Cup final at Blackpool against Pilkington Recs.of which i have fond memory's.
