Message below from Chloe Walker. Charlie’s daughter ❤️🤍🖤 we have all been overwhelmed by the love, support and stories from all those around us near and far. It’s truly been some comfort during a difficult time. We’d like to deeply thank each and every one of you. Dad’s funeral is now confirmed for Thursday 27th October 12:30 at Dewsbury Crematorium. There will also be a party after at Ossett Cricket club, all are welcome. As a family we know there will be many people who would like to pay their respects and it would be great to know if you plan on attending either part. WE DID IT!! Well, from an idea over a pint in January to entering our first tournament today. It’s safe to say Ossett RUFC mini and junior section is now going to be in full swing. We entered an U8’s and a U10’s today at a fantastically organised tournament @officialsandalrufc - Our Rookies did us proud. We thank you all so much for the support. We are now ready to take this to the next steps and start doing age group dedicated sessions for certain ages. As we’re new and have only been going a few months we’d also like to thank @leosrugby, @maltonandnortonrufc for adapting to touch to help us learn. Also a huge thank you to Anthony from @hullensiansrufc who kindly lent us some players for the matches which really helped our Rookies step up and showed everyone what rugby is about. We couldn’t be prouder of every little player today. Finally, a huge thank you to the volunteers, the parents, the coaches and Ossett RUFC for getting this going. You’ve all done an amazing job. After last night's award ceremony where our current crop of Tigers celebrated their seasons exploits, it ls great to see our future crop coming through our TigerCub ranks.
