  6. Saturday 9th April we meet Halifax Vandals RUFC at Queens Terrace in a Yorkshire 3 clash. Ossett are currently 9th in the league having won 11 of their 23 league games whilst Vandals lie 5th and have won 13 of 23. The reverse fixture back in December was a dour game Ossett going down 3 points to 10.   19. This week we travel to Myton (Hull) for Saturday's open age fixture. We still have spaces available on the coach for any spectators wanting to travel with the team and watch the game. Cost of the coach is £10 per person and will be leaving the club at 11.45am.   21. It's that time again! TigerCubs time. Training again with these kids is brilliant they are taking everything on board they are like sponges ready for knowledge our coaches are imparting. Trainers of the week Tots: little George Saynor, he was enthusiastic Pleasure to coach and just an absolute joy to have on the paddock well done big man. U6/U7: Dexter Rush, this week we did a defensive snake drill where if you're in the middle you will get pulled left and right if you don't speak! Well all we could hear throughout the droll was "GO LEFT or GO RIGHT" ge was resolute in giving orders future lead of the TigerCubs there.   25. On top of the first team win the second XV had another great win this time against higher league opposition Wath Upon Dearne 2’s. Final score was 36-24 in Ossett’s favour. A fine hat trick of tries from Jonny McGee backed up with two from Daniel Wray secured the win. A special mention must go to referee Nick Wenham who was first class , this in his first game at this level too. Congratulations and thank you Sir. A great double win the club.
