Following yesterday’s Cabinet meeting of Wakefield Council - funding was approved to start the process of converting Bank Street in Horbury in a one-way street. Following lots of concerns from residents I have been pushing this project for the last 3 years. It will be done with full resident consultation and could take another 2 years to implement as the legal processes are followed. Missing person - last seen yesterday please keep an eye out / share Police have issued a new picture of a missing 17 year old Georgia Fennell. Georgia Fennell, 17, from East Bierley was last seen on the 283 bus heading towards Dewsbury at 1.50pm yesterday (15 March.) She is described a white female, has a scar on her upper lip, black & blonde braids, slim build and 5 ft 8 tall. She was last seen wearing black leggings, black top, black handbag, black coat with beige fur and white Nike trainers. She has links to Kirklees in particular she is known to Dewsbury. Police are concerned for her welfare and would encourage anyone who has seen her to get in contact.
