We are pleased to confirm Oli Metcalfe and Ellis Farrar have signed dual registration deals with us from Guiesley. It is midfielder Oli and defender Ellis’ second dual registration deals of the season after earlier games at Tadcaster. Both have featured in Guiseley’s first team. They will both remain available for selection in Marcus Bignot and Russ O’Neill’s squads but will gain valueable experience with us. Thanks to Russ for allowing this dual registration to happen. Unfortunately we have had some bad news passed to us, that a former Ossett Trinity player Bob Walker has unfortunately passed away. Ronnie Parr former player and current committee member had this to say. A few words about Bob Walker who died last sat. Classed as one of ossett's great players he came to trinity from Dewsbury where he played with his brother (Tank) Walker and played late 60s to early 70s. Bob was a very good footballer he was equally at home at 6 or 13 he could find a gap for himself or for a team mate sheer class. Sadly for us at Ossett he decided to go to Dewsbury Celtic where he won the first Wilkinson sword for m.o.m in the National Cup final at Blackpool against Pilkington Recs.of which i have fond memory's.
