Ossett News Posted December 28, 2020 Report Share Posted December 28, 2020 Ossett RUFC are saddened to hear of the passing of Jim Kilfoyle. Jim coached Wakefield RFC for 14 years taking them to one of the top teams in the country. Jim then went on to coach Rotherham Titans in the championship and the premiership before coming DofR. He then went to coach Sandal RUFC leading them to 4 promotions. Jim also coached Yorkshire for 5 years resulting in 2 county championships Jim was a good friend to Ossett over the years taking a number of sessions for us. RIP Jim The below are words from ex Wakefield hooker Terry Garnett Very sad news indeed. Wakefield RUFC legend Jim Kilfoyle died on Boxing Day (Covid) my deepest sympathy goes out to Pat (Jim’s wife) and his sons for their incredible sad loss.
