Ossett News Posted March 16, 2021 Report Share Posted March 16, 2021 It is with great sorrow we have to inform our supporters and friends alike that we have been informed of the passing of Bernard Scott. He signed for Halifax in 1961 at the age of 19 from Shaw Cross Boys club, His heritage number at Halifax is #717. He then signed for Swinton in 1966, His Heritage number for Swinton is #546. He amassed a total of 158 games for both clubs. He signed for us at Ossett in 1972, Bernard played till 1980 he still supported the Tigers. Bernard was a very skilful prop for the time and he had the heart of a lion and never took a backward step.
