They also provide essential green corridors for which these species disperse. Furthermore, for many people wildflowers on our roadside verges provide essential personal wellbeing and contribute greatly to their feeling of wellbeing. Over the next few months a couple of verges will be left for nature to take a hold - more will be identified which in turn will create much needed habitats to support our local wildlife.
