Ossett did well to restrict them to 118-8 with only one player retiring on 32. Ben Squires 3-28 & Oliver Strang 2-25. In reply Ben Squires (15) & Jack Stevenson (14) got off to a quick start with a partnership of 22. After a few quick wickets from New Rover James’s Stringer (22*) stuck it out to the end with Ossett falling 48 runs short. Although disappointing for the boys this was an amazing accomplishment to get to the final. Everyone played exceptionally well and they should be as proud of themselves as we all are.
