Ossett News Posted August 14, 2021 Report Share Posted August 14, 2021 🏏🏏🥂Special Presentation🏏🏏🏏 Today we are pleased to meet John Legard & his wife Janet who are visiting Ossett CC on the 50th Anniversary of our victory in the HW Cup. John’s father, Eddie Legard was captain on that day. Eddie played professionally for Yorkshire & Warwickshire CCC and transferred to Ossett CC from Barnsley. Sadly Eddie passed away in Jan 2020.
