John received a 100th Birthday card from HM Queen, for reference I did not! Wakefield Council started a district-wide marketing campaign with Horbury & Ossett both featuring. The hanging baskets reappeared across Horbury for some summer colour, along with the wild flowers that we planted in verges, parks and at the Lagoons. I continued to work across the ward, supporting Friends of Illingworth Park in one of their clean up days. Here comes Summer!
