Ossett News Posted July 11, 2022 Report Share Posted July 11, 2022 Coach Mark Stuart is delighted to announce on behalf of the coaching staff that with immediate effect Simon Betty will join our coaching staff. Betty is currently unavailable to play due to a serious leg injury sustained 18 months ago , Christmas is the target for his return. We as a club were so fortunate to secure Betty’s services just before Covid. Betty first Started at Fleetwood RUFC as a player aged 6, played through all mini and juniors until 18 and then seniors, at 18 took on a coaching role with U8’s and took them up to senior colts which got him RFU Level 2 qualified, moved down south and played for Dorking whilst living there, slight career break and moved over to Yorkshire and came to Ossett, having considered a number of other local clubs.
