Ossett News Posted January 7, 2023 Report Share Posted January 7, 2023 🏏🏏🏏Ossett clinch Mehmi for 2023🏏🏏🏏 Ossett CC are delighted to announce the signing of all rounder Rohan Mehmi from Rushden & Higham Town CC in the Northamptonshire Cricket League. Rohan represented Northamptonshire Academy and 2Xl in 2022. Rohan was also 1XI skipper at the prestigious Bedford School. A move north to Leeds for his University studies, combined with playing cricket for the MCCU sees Mehmi join Ossett to play cricket at the highest club level in the region. Cricket Chairman Dan Busfield stated 'Initially meeting with Rohan and discussing what he wanted from his game moving forward was extremely refreshing. He is a young player with a mature outlook and clear ability. At only 19 years old Rohan has a bright future in the game and we want to be part of his development journey.
