Ossett News Posted January 10, 2023 Report Share Posted January 10, 2023 🏏🏏🏏Houghton joins Ossett for 2023🏏🏏🏏 Ossett CC are delighted to announce the signing of all rounder Archie Houghton from Brixworth CC in the Northamptonshire Cricket League. Archie also represented Northamptonshire Academy and 2nd Xl as well as Bedfordshire in the minor counties competition last season. In a similar vein to his long term friend Rohan, Archie has also moved to Leeds for his University studies combining this with playing cricket for the MCCU and continuing his development at Northants. Cricket chairman Dan Busfield stated ‘We were delighted that a player of Archie’s ability and no doubt future potential has chosen to join us at Ossett CC. It was clear that Archie bought into our ethos and culture at the club, coupled with a fantastic attitude towards his game and personal development, we believe it’s a great match!
