The 1XI welcomed HHCC to Queens Terrace, the visitors won the toss and chose to bowl. At 46 for 5 wickets it looked like it was going to be an early finish😩 until James Keen (Thornton Jones Solicitors) 22, Sam Storr (Platinummoney.co.uk) 12 & Sajith Wimarshana Fernando (Clinton North Builders) 30 kept cool heads and pushed the score along to a final total of 139 all out. With stoppages for rain the visitors had a revised target of 107 from 26 overs. HHCCs top scoring batter was ex-Ossett player Bradley Wood 22. The rest of team failed to follow up on their bowling performance and were dismissed for 54. Luke Watson (Brick Bond Northern LTD) 8-1-30-5 Oliver Kilburn 12.3-7-20-3 Oliver Whyte (Webmart) 4-1-9-2 After the break with a revised target of 64 from 43 overs Ben Coulthard (Bob Schofield) 19 & Tom Jenkinson (5Sport Coaching) 29* were the best of the batters and came away reaching 67 for 7 wickets.
