Ossett News Posted September 3, 2023 Report Share Posted September 3, 2023 🏏🏏🏏 A disappointing last weekend of the season for the 1XI, a partnership of 94 for the 8th wicket between James Keen 59 (Thornton Jones Solicitors) & James Wade 46 (Aspen Electrical Ltd) was the highlight of todays match v Jer Lane, but we live to fight another day in the Premier Division! However our 2XI are going from strength to strength and have cruised to a run of 6th victories. Having won the toss and putting East Leeds in to bat we quickly had them on their back foot and they were bowled out for 76 runs. 4 wickets for Tom Jenkinson & 3 each for Olly Whyte (Webmart) & Luke Watson (Brick Bond Northern LTD) Opener Ben Coulthard (Bob Schofield) 29 and no. 3 batter Olly Whyte 21* sealed the fate of East Leeds.
