Ossett News Posted November 4, 2023 Report Share Posted November 4, 2023 A very disappointing morning. The weather got the better of our Poppy display in Memorial Park. The ground is so soft and sodden that our pegs would not stay put! We'll try again later in the week, but we may have to call this year's display off - as 'weather stopped play'. Plan B, for later in the year - will be to sew all the poppies together to create a 'rug' for use in the library. More information to folllow. We have left Tommy guarding the park for now.
