Ossett News
Yes, it has..... ***************************** Following on from their most successful season of UniBond Football, Ossett Albion has announced that they have signed a major sponsorship deal with Leeds based business Warehouse Systems Limited. The 3 year ground sponsorship deal will see Albion’s Dimple Wells ground re-named as the Warehouse Systems Stadium and is a huge step in Albion’s push towards its goal of promotion from the Unibond First Division North. Commenting on this deal Albion’s Chairman Tony Stott said, ‘This deal is a major boost for Albion providing the club with the necessary finances to improve the facilities at the Warehouse Systems Stadium as well as forming a long term partnership with a major company in Leeds. This deal sees the start of a more aggressive sponsorship campaign, an area which has been lacking in recent years at the club but has been rejuvenated with the addition of Ashley Speight as commercial manager’ Also commenting on the deal Neville Proctor, Managing Director of Warehouse Systems said, ‘After a season supporting Championship football financially, it is refreshing to be involved with a local team striving to improve its standing. Every £ spent with Ossett feels like it is going to be used to it’s maximum and we feel very proud to support Tony’s plans for the coming seasons.’ The stadium improvements in plan for the summer see the addition of a bar at the ground, new boardroom, club shop and offices with a replacement stand at the Orchard End of the ground also planned for construction in the new season.
